When are you going to enable Payment Gateways.

To be quite frank it is becoming pretty labourise doing credit card payments manually. And is open to mistakes. Especially when a customers enters a error. You don't find out about the error until you process the payment then you gota jump through loops to contact the customer and get it fixed.

I am a bit curious as why you haven't payment gateways? You must be the only Online Store that hasn't.

We use Eway and it is extremely easy to setup has it uses XML. The code and instructions to do it are one the eway site.

The Payment gateway, especially eway, is in our TODO list already.

Thanks for the link.

It would be good if you put it to the top of your todolist :)

We'll try to squeeze it in. If we can't make it, we'll make a special release for the eway support.

That would be great thanks :D

Eway have two methods one with CVN one without um make sure you use the one with CVN so customers have to enter the 3 number CVN :)

You may also wish to look at this

which is Eways Anti Fraud detication service which can be implemented during the transaction process.

Cheers

There are two ways to implement eway, one is cusotmer is redirected to eway and input the credit card there.

The other is the customer enters the credit card information on your site then submit the details to Eway - which is required by Eways Anti Fraud detication service. The drawback for this is you have to keep the creditcard information in your database, at least before the order is completed.

Which way you guys prefer?

This way would be good as you stay on you site, I find customers get confused when they find themselves somewhere esle. And besides can have the card details deleted once order completed.

I thought so 8)

Um with Beagle Anti-fraud, there are some options that I wouldn't want enabled. For example Eway have a option where they refuse Free Email Accounts like Hotmail, Gmail and such. I wouldn't want this enabled as 90% of customers use there Free Email Accounts when purchasing. So you need to be a tad careful on what anti-fraud options you enable.

They also have a option/s where that have a database of all known emails, websites, IP's and deliverly address's known to be used by fraudsters, I would want this enabled.

Cheers
