A duplicate product is a copy of the selected product. When a product is duplicated, all fields including categories, product variants, related products, and product images are copied. Only the product code (SKU) is set to empty.
To duplicate a product,
1) Login admin panel with proper privilege 2) Navigate the categories to the product you want to duplicate.
3) Click button modify to open the product form.
4) Then click the Duplicate button on the form.
5) Change the values of the fields if necessary, and click the Add button to save the duplicated product.

ETA - I just tested this and it does work (but I had to readd the imagine - no big deal)

HOWEVER it doesn't copy the variant tables that are attacked to the product, is that correct?
